Native American storytelling is accessible to people of all ages and from all backgrounds. Narratives woven with traditional elements teach valuable lessons about life, nature, and the interconnectedness of all beings.
Through the Native American oral storytelling tradition, we create a space for joy, learning, and healing.
In each of us there is a child, yearning to understand the world. That child is eager to appreciate the beauty of the present moment, to foster connection, and to celebrate our shared humanity.
Stories invite us to explore themes of harmony, respect for nature, and the importance of our relationships with one another and our environment. The soothing rhythm of the spoken word encourages listeners, irrespective of their age, to pause, reflect, and gain a deeper understanding of their own place within the tapestry of life.
Before there were books, there were stories... and those stories persevere, giving us their gifts across time. Join us for the journey of a lifetime...

I am on the left -other pictures in this section are of my grandfather. It is through him that I come to my native heritage and the traditions and stories that mean so much to me.
By reflecting on the teachings imparted to me by my elders, I've realised that the role of Othlokat is a gift and sacred responsibility, through which I am called to help others explore the myths and legends that illuminate our human nature.
The Othlokat infuses narratives with lessons and guidance, creating opportunities for personal reflection and growth as well as entertainment. Each tale, rich with symbolism, reinforces our values and brings us to harmony with nature- that around us as well as our human nature within.
In the rich tapestry of Native American heritage, the term "Othlokat," which translates to "storyteller," holds profound significance. Being a story teller is more than just relating stories- it's an important tradition that promotes a way of life that harmonises with nature and its creative energies.
I am humbled by the gifts that storytelling has bestowed upon me and seek to honour this legacy by sharing these stories and their wisdom... this connection to nature, and our past, is needed more now than ever.
Storytelling inspires dialogue, fosters understanding, and nurtures resilience by helping people to see things from creative perspectives. It is my hope that by embracing this role, I can illuminate the pathways of our ancestors that wait in our hearts and minds.
Listen to the stories, learn their messages, experience guided imagery and find spiritual and personal development in harmony with nature, brought to you from a simpler time.
I can tailor sessions for all sizes, ages, and backgrounds and have tools such as crafts and drums that can augment the experience.
Come, walk with me to visit our ancestors...they have many gifts to share.
